The Problem
You’ve installed and activated the WP-Shortstats plugin according to the instructions. You see the link on your Dashboard, but it doesn’t register any traffic on your blog. It just doesn’t work.
The Cause:
I have no f’ing clue.
The Solution:
The problem was found and fixed on this blog AND it was fixed on this project site. In either case, the solution involves downloading an updated PHP file to replace the one you installed. Simple, and it works.
[Note: You have to right-click on the above-mentioned file and select “save link as…”. Just clicking on the link will just give you an error. Or destroy the world, I forget which one. Remove the “.txt” from the end of the file’s name before uploading it to your plugins directory.]
