Informative post, I’ve had similar problems with other plugins. I even had to pay a programmer to solve the issues with some of the plugins.

And I will add to what you’ve said

Copy the “Kramer.php file” and put it directly into the plugins directory. Don’t put it in a subdirectory

…AND remove your old kramer directory, because I got conflicts having both “kramer.php” and “kramer/kramer.php” files.

Thanks for this tip. Kramer.php now loads for me. I hope it retrieves all previous trackbacks prior to installation.
